Sadly we have to announce the loss of two of our beloved Dalmatians.
Our dear LOUISE (Ch Olbero Riverdore Justa Dream) bred by Ann Bliss by
Olbero Osario and Olbero Orangedream, sadly passed away in November 2008
aged 15 Years. She was a great ambassador for the breed, travelling all
over Europe with us in the early 1990's as a junior winning 3 CACIB's
and 3 CACs in different countries and Best Bitch in show at both the
German and Belgium Club shows. She came back to the UK at the age of
18 months and after spending 6 months in quarantine gained her champion
title here. She produced 3 champion progeny from two litters. She is the
great grandmother of our present bitch Penny, Olbero One to Treasure, who
has inherited her exuberant show temperament, pretty head and strong
conformation. We consider it an honour to have been owned by such a
beautiful bitch and her name says it all, she really was 'just a dream'
and will be missed by all her companions.

Our strong JAMES (Ch Weaponness Hyperion of Olbero JW) sadly died in November 2008.
Aged 12½ years. Bred by Peggy Pilgrim out of her twice Crufts CC winning
bitch Ch Weaponnesss Firebird and by our own Ch and Dutch Ch Cocheperro Oreblo
of Olbero. He was my handsome boy so willing and well behaved in our home and
not minding the exuberance of two younger males. He was lightly shown in the
younger years of his life gaining 4 CC's . He sired two champions, our own
Gloria (Ch One in a Million at Olbero JW) and Finish/Estonian Ch Olbero Oedipus
brother to our own Olbero Off the Peg. He is the grandfather, and on the other
side of his pedigree, great grandfather of our young bitch Penny, Olbero One to
Treasure who has inherited his sweet nature and strength of body, bone and
sound movement. We will miss his presence on the sofa here at Rookery Oak where
he spent the final months of his life, but he lives on in our dalmatian family.
